Si la question du document est essentielle pour aborder le Datcha Project, Producing History (2014) consiste en une remise au goût du jour d'une technique d'impression désuète pourtant révolutionnaire au début du 20ème siècle. La technique d'impression utilisée est celle du Linotype, machine inventée en 1885 qui révolutionna l’édition en permettant à de petits ateliers de saisir des textes importants dans des délais raccourcis, ce qui rendit possible l’énorme développement autour de 1900 de la presse quotidienne en lui offrant une réactivité nouvelle.

Whereas the question of the document is essential to address the Datcha Project, Producing History (2014) consists of a revival of an obsolete printing technique considered revolutionary at the start of the 20th century. The printing technique used is Linotype, a machine invented in 1885 that revolutionized publishing enabling small studios to input large texts rapidly and allowing the daily press to make huge progress around 1900 by providing a reactivity that was previously impossible.
